The Desk Set

The Desk Set has provided San Francisco with classic and contemporary stationery, invitations and gifts for over 35 years at the same location. The store changed hands for only the second time in 2005. The new owners have revived the store, remodeling the interior and updating its offerings while retaining the values and services that have made the store continuously successful. Rachel Lopez Metzger
Rachel is the owner of The Desk Set and the principal designer for RLM Design. She is a graduate of the California College of the Arts and a local freelance marketing and book designer. Recent clients include Williams-Sonoma (Weldon Owen), the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, Tante Marie’s Cooking School and several individual clients.
